Fruits of the Spirit: Kindness
Kindness is love in action simple, sincere, and powerful. It’s choosing to speak gently, to help without being asked, and to see the needs of others with a compassionate heart. As a fruit of the Spirit, kindness reflects God's own goodness toward us. In our families, kindness builds trust, eases tension, and makes home a safe place. Whether it’s a kind word, a helping hand, or a forgiving heart, these small acts make a big impact. Let’s encourage one another to be intentionally kind, showing God’s love in the way we treat those closest to us.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
— Ephesians 4:32

Learning Highlights
Toddler Learning
This month we would like to welcome some new friends to our room. Charlotte, Raiden, Matthew, Reuben and Ryan. It has been lovely getting to know you and your families and we look forward to lots of fun and learning ahead.
The children have been enjoying many activities centered around one of their favorite books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. They have painted butterflies, decorated egg cartons to make caterpillars and explored a great sensory activity feeding the caterpillar.
We have also loved the sunny days and exploring the outdoor Toddler Area and Adventure Playground together while building on our gross motor and social skills.

Parent Resources & Information
Fun with Literacy & Numeracy: SHAVING CREAM WORDS
Shaving cream is such an amazing sensory activity! Your kids will be so excited to use shaving cream for a learning activity, it won’t even feel like they are learning!
First, spray foam shaving cream on an art tray.
Then, spread it out so the shaving cream is all over the tray! Write their name, a number, or draw a shape that you are working on in the shaving cream and ask your child if they know what the word, number, or shape is. Ask them to copy their name, number, or shape in the shaving cream. Repeat this process over and over again!
Let your child erase the words so they get a chance to play in the shaving cream!
Find this and more activities below.
