Fruits of the Spirit: Faithfulness
Faithfulness is loyalty, trustworthiness, and commitment, qualities that reflect God’s unchanging love for us. As a fruit of the Spirit, it means being reliable in our words and actions, keeping our promises, and standing firm in our faith. In our families, faithfulness looks like showing up, staying true during hard times, and supporting one another with steady love. It builds strong relationships rooted in trust and consistency. Just as God is always faithful to us, we are called to be faithful to Him and to those He places in our lives. Let’s choose faithfulness every day.

Learning Highlights
Kindy Theme of the Week: Exploring Fairy Tales
Last week and over the next two weeks, we are exploring the wonderful world of Fairy Tales. From “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” to “The Three Little Pigs” our little learners have been captivated by classic tales filled with imagination, adventure, and important lessons.
Fairy tales play a vital role in early childhood development. They not only spark creativity and imagination but also help children understand story structure, characters, and plot—key elements in building strong literacy skills. Through read-alouds, role-play, and sequencing activities, children are beginning to recognise story patterns and retell familiar tales in their own words. This is an important skill for children to develop as it supports their comprehension, understanding of concepts of print and that print conveys meaning.
Our Letter of the Week is C— Children will practice forming the letter C, identifying words that begin with C, and lots of crafting to cement their recognition of the letter.
In numeracy, we explored concepts such as size (small, medium, large), ordering (first, next, last), and simple counting games based on story elements. Goldilocks’ bowls and chairs will give us the perfect opportunity to discuss comparisons and quantities.
Our sensory tray is transformed into the worlds of the Fairy Tales for children to explore, developing their imagination and fine motor skills to retell stories and create new ones.
Crafting and artwork have brought fairy tales to life! From making collages to designing their own fairy tale castles, the children expressed their understanding of stories through colour, texture, and creativity.

Letter Pillow Jump
If your kiddos need to burn off some energy, this letter activity from Toddler Approved will be perfect. Use a stack
of paper plates and write one giant letter on each one. Then use packing tape to secure each plate to a pillow and spread them around the room. Have the kids start on one side of the room and try to jump to the other without touching the floor. As they jump to each new pillow, have them say the letter or letter sound. Find more quick early literacy activities below.
